Music for advertising, film, and video games
I am a musician and composer living in Seattle. I create music in a variety of styles and genres for film, television, commercials, video games, and more. My music runs the gamut from high-energy pop and rock tunes to downtempo electronica, lush orchestral pieces, rousing jazz numbers, and moody ambient synth drones.
I enjoy mixing genres and combining musical elements to create a unique and individual synthesis. While most of my pieces would fit easily into one category or another, there are always hints of other things—an African thumb piano in a rock song, or a delayed electric guitar in a piece featuring piano and woodwinds. These elements never feel out of place to me—we’re at a point now where all music is available to everyone, and mixing and combining elements feels totally natural and instinctive.
I pride myself in creating music that’s moving and evocative. Whether it’s a piece that’s exciting and uplifting, or one that’s melancholy and sad, my music is always emotionally engaging. I also believe wholeheartedly in giving my clients what they want, when they want it. If you don’t like what I write for you, you don’t pay for. Period.
